Your Hosts

Andrew & Colleen Simpson, and Buster & Pauline Gardner are your hosts at Kauri Villas.  We feel very blessed to own this amazing property, and are keen to share it with you.

Andrew & Colleen have been married 37 years, with three adult children and 8 grandchildren. They have travelled extensively throughout New Zealand and can recommend many amazing  places to visit in our beautiful country.

Buster & Pauline have been married 34 years, with four adult children and 3 grandchildren. Buster is a keen fisherman, and it has been said “that what Buster does not know about fishing, is not worth knowing”.

Colleen & Pauline are sisters, and Andrew & Buster have been good mates for almost 40 years.
The girls love cooking, gardening and all things creative. The guys are good kiwi blokes who love their fishing, classic cars, restoration projects and chickens.

Meet our farmyard family

We have our 2 Steers, (Chuck & Blade) and a small flock of sheep grazing in the paddocks.  Billy was our bottle fed lamb and he is very sociable.   An  assortment of  chickens (who give us the best eggs).  Last but by no means least is Ford the cat.  Children are welcome to feed the animals.
